This post is basically just a way of filling you in on all that has happened since the last post. The location was chosen (even though previously mentioned, i thought it would be fitting to explain why we chose certain places), the majority of the filming was done in a warehouse. The warehouse was perfect for us as it is quite bare inside with concrete floors and metal bars over the windows, the space is very large to allow a lot of movement for cameras and acting. I thought the location was very ideal too as a warehouse is an environment one would associate with a hidden fighting training centre, it is very in keep with the tone of the film.
I'm also in the process of grouping our questionnaire (audience research results) and putting our storyboard up, these will both be posted very soon.
The filming finished and went very well, myself and Alex visited the location several times and took along with us our HD camera, tripod and wheels for the tripod - we got a wide variety of shots and felt we had got a lot of footage to create some very effective and gripping shots. It was then back to the computers where we put our footage up and started the editing, we all cut sections and put them into Final Cut Express where we then went on to add effects, cuts etc. After some hard editing work we finally created our piece which we were all proud of.
