Finished Ancillary task - Magazine front cover

Below is our finished magazine front cover as part of our project. Alastair used his Canon Digital SLR to take a range of shots, once decided on the image we then put it into Photoshop CS4 and edited away at it. I made sure to use the same price as 'Empire' uses to give it an authentic feel. I am very pleased with the final result and like the colour trends on the page for fonts along with the picture which i think stands out very well. We wanted to put 'Mickey' at the forefront of it all as we want the public to associate and familiarise with him. The background of the brick wall was chosen to create the warehouse feel and be accurate rather than have him all angry and tensed with his fists up with an empty park behind him! We also dressed him in a wifebeater to further reiterate his fighter image.
